Periodontal Services in Madison, WI
Periodontal disease is an infection that leads to losing the tissue and bone that support the teeth. Left untreated, periodontal disease often leads to tooth loss.
Dr. Greene and the hygienists at Madison Lakes Dental are committed to helping you understand the warning signs of periodontal disease and the treatments available to manage this disease.
Regular dental cleanings can significantly reduce the risk of periodontal disease. As a standard part of each cleaning, your hygienist will:
- Measure the pocket depth around each of your teeth
- Evaluate bleeding and inflammation
- Use digital imaging to evaluate bone health
Information gathered by your hygienist is shared with you to give you a full understanding of the health of your mouth.
